When do contributions cease to be remitted on my behalf to the Pension Plan?

Pension Contributions cease to remitted on your behalf when one of the following situations occur:

  • Upon termination, retirement or death, you will cease to be an active member of the Pension Plan, contributions will no longer be remitted to the Pension Plan.
  • If you become totally and permanently disabled and receive disability pension from another source, contributions will no longer be remitted to the Pension Plan.
  • If you are over age 71 and still working for a participating employer, contributions cannot be remitted to the Pension Plan past the age of 71.
