Plan governance. Who oversees my pension plan?

The Board of Trustees is responsible for over seeing the general administration and overall governance of the Pension Plan. The Board of Trustees is comprised of appointed representatives from the participating Employers and the Teamsters Local Union 230.

Note: The Pension Plan, along with the government benefits such as, Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS), your personal retirement savings, contribute to your financial security/income at retirement.

Your Normal Retirement Date (NRD) is the 1st day of the month following your 65th birthday or your 65th birthday if it’s the 1st day of the month.
